Bengaluru: Global tech brand OnePlus has officially launched OnePlus Campus Dominate – Road to BGMS, a nationwide esports initiative exclusively for college students across India.

The high-stakes competition offers a total prize pool of ₹6 lakhs and a rare opportunity for the top two teams to secure a coveted spot at BGMS 2025, India’s premier Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) league.

Open to students from all colleges nationwide, registrations for OnePlus Campus Dominate are active from June 26 to July 12, 2025. The campaign aims to discover and nurture emerging talent within India’s vibrant college gaming community.

Speaking about the initiative, Marcel Campos, Director of Product Strategy at OnePlus India, said, “Gaming is deeply embedded in the OnePlus community. OnePlus Campus Dominate not only reflects our support for grassroots esports but also aligns with our commitment to delivering high-performance smartphones like the upcoming OnePlus Nord 5 and CE5. The tournament comes ahead of the much-anticipated launch of the OnePlus Nord 5 and Nord CE5, scheduled for 8 July 2025.

The Nord 5, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and LPDDR5X RAM, offers best-in-class gaming capabilities, including native 144fps support for Call of Duty: Mobile and BGMI gameplay at 90fps – further amplified to 144fps through frame interpolation technology.
